Kun-Chol is a US-qualified lawyer with expertise in cross-border transactions, tax law, and international arbitration. During his career, he has advised corporate clients, ranging from startups to Fortune 50 companies, in various industries including financial services, pharmaceuticals, and technology on a wide range of business transactions such as fund formation and structuring, investment in US equity/debt/real property interest, and M&As.

In law school, Kun-Chol served as a research assistant to esteemed law professors such as Professor William W Park, a former president of the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), and Professor Mindy Herzfeld.

Kun-Chol holds a Doctor of Juridical Sciences (S.J.D.) with a thesis on tax treaty arbitration. Kun Chol’s work gained recognition and is cited by scholars in the field.
