One Law Partners Secures Victory for Lee Kun-Hee in 4 Trillion KRW Samsung Heir Dispute Over Nominee Shares
The heirs of Lee Maeng-Hee (eldest son of Samsung Group founder Lee Byung-Chul), the late Lee Jae-Chan (son of the late Lee Chang-Hee, the second son), and Lee Sook-Hee (daughter) filed a lawsuit against Lee Kun-Hee (third son), claiming that he had solely inherited nominee shares of Samsung Life Insurance and Samsung Electronics during the succession of management rights in Samsung Group. The plaintiffs sought their rightful share of the stocks and related dividends, with the total claim amounting to approximately 4 trillion KRW.
