We acted as Korean legal counsel to Spackman Entertainment Group Limited (“SEG”) in connection with the IPO and listing on the Catalist board of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited .  Duane Morris & Selvam LLP was the Singapore legal counsel to SEG on the transaction.

SEG is the first Korean film production group to successfully complete an IPO and list in Singapore.  Through Zip Cinema and Opus Pictures, its Korean motion picture production subsidiaries, SEG has produced or invested in a number of Korean motion pictures, including the recently released “Snowpiercer” (설국열차) and “Cold Eyes (감시자들)”.

Our team led by Yong-Ho Hong and Heon-Yup Lee conducted legal due diligence of the Korean affiliates of SEG, including Opus Pictures and Zip Cinema, and provided Korean law advice in connection with the transaction.  We successfully completed the project by effectively working together with Duane Morris & Selvam.
