Profile
Attorney Su-Dong Lee served as a military legal officer for approximately 24 years and was awarded the Order of Merit for National Foundation, Samil Medal. Throughout his career, he held key positions in various defense sectors, including Chief Legal Officer of the Air Force Headquarters (Director of the Air Force Human Rights Center), Chief Prosecutor of the Ministry of National Defense Prosecution Service, Head of the Ministry of National Defense Litigation Team, Legal and Litigation Team Leader at the Defense Acquisition Program Administration, Presiding Judge of the Military Court, and roles at the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Military Investigation Command, and Operations Command.

During his tenure at the Ministry of National Defense, he was recognized with the Presidential Citation for discovering regulatory reform tasks, including the removal of military facility protection zones and the revision of approximately 500 regulatory provisions. As Head of the Litigation Team at the Ministry of National Defense, he oversaw defense-related lawsuits such as state compensation claims, military supplier defaults, disciplinary actions, personnel petitions, and constitutional lawsuits. As Legal and Litigation Team Leader at the Defense Acquisition Program Administration, he managed civil lawsuits involving approximately 900 billion KRW in claims, including liquidated damages, and administrative lawsuits such as bid restrictions on fraudulent contractors.

As head of military prosecution, Attorney Lee investigated a wide range of cases, including the Ministry of National Defense cyber-comment incident, defense industry and supply corruption, construction facility corruption, violations of the Military Secret Protection Act, and sexual crimes. During his service as Chief Prosecutor, he was awarded the Presidential Unit Citation. As Chief Legal Officer of the Air Force Headquarters, he researched legal issues and challenges in aerospace law and provided consultation on Air Force policies in the space and aviation sectors.

Drawing on his extensive public service experience and knowledge, Attorney Lee is committed to serving as a dedicated specialist lawyer in defense, defense industry, public contracts, and criminal law. He handles cases involving defense policy, the defense industry, aerospace, defense AI, military construction and base relocation, military facility protection zone disputes, redevelopment, reconstruction-related real estate disputes, and veterans’ affairs, including national merit and war-related cases.

Particularly, he focuses on disputes involving defense and supply companies related to bid restrictions on fraudulent contractors, liquidated damages, damages claims, major industrial accidents, environmental law violations, and public contract disputes involving national or local governments. Additionally, he actively represents clients in criminal cases including sexual crimes, insulting superiors, supply corruption, construction facility corruption, military secret leaks, bribery, and embezzlement. He also provides legal remedies through disciplinary proceedings, personnel petitions, administrative litigation, damages claims, inheritance disputes, and advocates for military human rights.
